The University of Kinshasa received, this Friday, December 17, 2021, the visit of the Ambassador of India in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mr. Ram Karan Verma.
Welcomed by their host, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe, Rector of the University of Kinshasa, the two delegations met at the Rectorate for discussions on relations between India and Unikin.

In his speech, the Rector of Unikin, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe, presented Unikin's missions and visions. It aims to change the way students are trained by strengthening their theoretical and practical skills so that they are immediately employable upon graduation.
He advocates for a university of the future, the digitalization of Unikin's management, which will require adequate tools, hence the need for increased IT equipment. He also presented some of Unikin's student achievements. He expressed the hope of popularizing the LMD system and acquiring simulation labs.
For his part, the Indian Ambassador, Mr. Ram Karan Verma, expressed his satisfaction with the visit. He promised to support UNIKIN's vision. He recalled India's support in the DRC in the field of education for several decades, hence the presentation of two scholarships. : ITEC And ICCR.
