The UNIKIN NUMERIQUE competition launched on October 25 of last year continues its course through its various stages.

After the awareness raising and submission of applications, from Wednesday, January 12, 2022 to Friday, January 14, 2022, the pre-selection of candidates who submitted their applications took place at the computer science laboratory of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Kinshasa. The aim of this pre-selection was to select the best candidates carrying out projects on the digitization of the University of Kinshasa. Note that after this stage, the selected candidates will benefit from training in order to prepare for the final selection which will take place during the large plenary session. The pre-selection took place in front of a jury made up of 3 members all from the University of Kinshasa including:

1.MATALA TAMASALA Michel CT, specialist in broadband wireless communication networks

2.MBULAYI ONESIME CT, specialist in Bioinformatics and data sciences

3.MOSINGALETE LUMBU Judith CT, Data Analysis Specialist (Computer Network)

To close this stage of the competition, the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe, made his presence felt by making the audience in the room understand the merits of the competition and the various opportunities it offers to young students.
The results of the selected projects will be published in the following days.
