As part of the organization of the 9th Francophone Games, a delegation from the national committee of these games visited the University of Kinshasa site this Wednesday, January 19, 2022, accompanied by the Unikin Management Committee.

Led by Mr Isidore Kwandja Ngembo, National Director of the 9th Francophone Games, this delegation took a look at the state of renovation of the student homes for a possible installation of the Francophone Village, the games of which are scheduled for August 19 to 28, 2022.

In his remarks, the National Director of the 9th Francophone Games explained that the possibility of housing athletes on the university campus could be an asset for Congolese youth. The athletes will be housed there for about ten days, while Congolese youth will be able to benefit from it for several years. In addition, certain investments that will benefit these youth will be made, including the installation of fiber optics and the strengthening of the water and electricity systems.
