This Monday, February 14, 2022, a delegation from the Panel of female staff of the University of Kinshasa driven by Mrs. Christine Basosila, went to the Rector of Unikin, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba in order to present his regards to him.
Ms. Christine Basosila described this panel as a space for reflection on women's rights. The delegation that accompanied her represented the multiple feminine faces of UNIKIN, that is, academic, scientific, and administrative women. This delegation was composed of: Mrs. Basosila Rose, Mrs. Mukendi, Mrs. Kuyitila, Professor Kalombo, Mother Jeanne, Mother Cecile, Mom Evelyne And Professor Phoba Mado.
The panel congratulated the Rector of Unikin for his actions and those of the Management Committee aimed at promoting Unikin. It reassured the Rector of its support in this difficult task.

For his part, the Rector of Unikin, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, thanked the Unikin Women's Staff Panel for this thoughtful gesture. He promised to keep his office door open to mothers and their advice. He also congratulated the Panel for its organization and hoped to see its activities continue.
As a gift, the Unikin Women's Staff Panel presented the Unikin Rector with a painting depicting a woman lovingly breastfeeding her child. The Rector once again thanked these mothers for this gesture, emphasizing that this painting represents for him the image of our Alma Mater, which nourishes everyone without distinction and serves the community.
Women's Month is coming soon, and the Unikin Women's Staff Panel is already announcing the colors of this major event that concerns women around the world.
