Following Circular Note No. 002/MINESU/CAB.MIN/MNB/BLB/2022 of February 22, 2022 and the minutes of the 42nd meeting of the Council of Ministers of February 25, 2022, the Management Committee of the University of Kinshasa informs the university community and the public of the following:

• With its vision, mission and values, the University of Kinshasa is fully committed to the process of implementing the LMD System:

• To this end, during this academic year 2021 – 2022, horizontal generalization is applied, that is to say that all faculties will organize the teachings in the recruitment classes of the First cycle (Preparatory and L.1/LMD) in accordance with the training models made available by the Ministry;

• The Faculty courses (Polytechnic, Sciences, Agronomic Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences) and the training entities which are already involved in the LMD are continuing its vertical generalization;

• Based on all the seminars, workshops and meetings organized and to be organized, with a view to strengthening the capacities of the staff of the stakeholders of the university community; UNIKIN continues, in accordance with the regulatory texts in force and the guidelines of the Supervisory Authority, the preparation, reflections and activities with a view to the effective organization of the third Cycle following the resolutions of the ESU General Assembly.

To do this, all the staff and students of our Alma Mater are invited to participate in these efforts to revalue, revitalize and promote our Alma Mater.
