The University of Kinshasa received on September 30, 2022, Her Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, Eve BAZAIBA MASUDI on the occasion of the scientific day on the 27th United Nations Framework Conference on Climate Change (COP 27).
Aware of the need to improve knowledge on the tropical rainforests of the Congo Basin, and of its role in the emergence of scientific innovation to support sustainable development in the Congo Basin, the University of Kinshasa intends to capitalize on this opportunity to mobilize the necessary scientific resources to support the implementation of the Yangambi Declaration and contribute to the materialization of the "DRC Pays Solution" vision.
