The Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Louis Esambo, has been participating since October 26, 2022 in Niamey, Niger, in an international conference organized by the Nigerien Association of Constitutional Law on the theme 'State building in Africa: between democracy and coup d'état'. He gave an interesting presentation on 'Coup d'état in Africa: from constitutional prohibition to political tolerance. For what governance?'

A week earlier, he was invited by the Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security of the African Union Commission to participate in the Validation Workshop on Guidelines on Constitutional Revisions by Member States of the Union. This workshop took place, also in Niamey, Niger.
