Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, Rector of the University of Kinshasa and his delegation had constructive discussions with the ARES officials on the afternoon of Thursday, February 23, 2023.

The first moment of these exchanges took place between the Rector of UNIKIN, the Administrator of ARES, the Coordinator of the UNIKIN Management and International Relations Unit, the Belgian AI-UNIKIN 2022-2027 steering group, the DRC Country Coordinator and some members and partners of ARES involved in the 2022-2027 Institutional Support.

The second moment, which was full of impact, was the one-on-one meeting between Rector Kayembe Jean Marie and the Administrator of ARES, Laurent Despy.

To this end, several resolutions were adopted, allowing us to glimpse new perspectives of collaboration between ARES and our Alma Mater beyond the current 2022-2027 program.

This series of discussions ended with a meal offered to the Rector and his delegation.
