The Rector of the University of Kinshasa informs the University Community of the visit of the joint delegation from Uc Louvain and KU Leuven, led by their respective Rectors: Professor Vincent BLONDEL and Professor Luc SELS.

The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, informs the University Community of the visit of the joint delegation from Uc Louvain and KU Leuven, led by their respective Rectors: Professor Vincent BLONDEL and Professor Luc SELS.
Unikin guests will be staying on the ground floor from Monday, March 13 to Friday, March 17, 2023.
On this occasion, many activities are organized by our Alma Mater:
Monday, March 13, 2023: Welcome of guests by the Rectors of Unikin, UCC as well as by the Director General of Fine Arts.
On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the Academic Senate, the Belgian delegation will be received by the Unikin Management Committee. To this end, the Unikin Rector will present his institution, followed by several other activities:
– Presentation of the School of Population Sciences by its Director, Professor Jacques Emina
– Exchange between the delegation and the Students
– Then, there will be a visit to some of the laboratories, specialized schools and museums of Unikin (the Food Biotechnology Laboratory, the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Water School, the Neuro-Psychopathological Center, the School of Public Health, the University Clinics, the Doctoral School, the Museum of Prehistory and Archaeology as well as the Chair of Social Dynamics.
On Wednesday, March 15, 2023, in the Monekoso Room, two conferences are planned on: *The Response to pandemics (Ebola, covid): Experience of the DRC.
* The assets of the Congo Basin in the face of climate change.
Other dialogues in this area of activities will focus on direct proposals for sustainable collaboration in research, education, capacity building: digitalization, cultural heritage and strengthening International Relations and the issue of the Doctoral School (strengthening of co-supervision capacities).
The result of these discussions will be materialized by the signing of the Cooperation Protocol.
