Two days of reflection were organized at the University of Kinshasa to address the scarcity of corn in part of the Congolese market. Experts from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and those from the Faculty of Economics and Management met around a table at the Academic Senate of Mgr Maurice Plevoet to reflect and propose short, medium, and long-term solutions to the Congolese Executive. This two-day workshop was attended by the Deputy Coordinator of the DRC Strategic Reserve, Didier MBUYI MUNDELA. The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, sees in these days of reflection one of the missions assigned to scientists, namely: service to the community.
