“Roles and contribution of the Academies of Sciences for the development of higher education and scientific research in the DRC”.
This is the theme of the Scientific Workshop organized by the Academy of Sciences for Young People in the DRC (ASJ-RDC in acronym) this Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the University of Kinshasa in the Monekosso room. This trip aimed to guide students on how to promote science and teach them some strategies to implement in various fields, including: agriculture, electricity, biology… Always with the aim of promoting science.
It was opened by the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, who is keen to promote the scientific careers of young students.
In his speech, the President of ASJ-RDC, Mr. Patrick MEMVANGA, envisaged bringing together in the coming days a significant number of multidisciplinary scientists around a table to decide on the problems plaguing Congolese society and to propose possible solutions.
