“DRC-European Union cooperation: point of view and involvement of the Scientific body; the security situation in the East of the DRC and involvement of the European Union; the electoral process…” These are the missions in Kinshasa of the Euro MPs including Thierry Mariani, European Deputy and Honorary Minister of the Sarkozy Government, received at the University of Kinshasa this Monday, November 27, 2023 by the Rector of this university establishment, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA. This visit aims to support and contribute significantly to the efforts made by the Head of State, Félix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO, so that the Country regains its place in the concert of nations.

The Rector of the eldest of Congolese universities expressed his pleasure in welcoming the European parliamentarians to the inspired hill. He thus sent a message of fraternity to the visitors: "To develop the world, we all need each other..." he declared, while recalling that the University, in this context, is seen a little like civil society.
