RESEARCH: THE UNIVERSITY'S MAIN MISSION

The university has three universally recognized missions: research, executive training, and community service. Every member of our university community knows this, or should know it. But which of these three missions takes priority? The answer to this question is not unanimous, while the General Assembly of Higher University Education (ESU), which was recently held in Lubumbashi from September 6 to 14, 2021, decided: research, as elsewhere, must be the primary mission of the Congolese university.
