Meeting on January 19, 2024 at the Academy of Fine Arts, the members of the Conference of School Heads of the City of Kinshasa presented to the Head of State, Félix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO, their congratulations on his re-election to this second term.
In their speech, read by the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, the guardians of the university establishments of Kinshasa made the commitment to accompany the Guarantor of the Nation in this new exercise at the top of the State. They submitted some proposals: that of engaging the student youth in military training, in relation to security issues; they also request, from the President of the Republic Félix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO and from the Government, the confidence in the Congolese University, because it emerges from the skills in various fields.

Regarding education, the heads of the universities of Kinshasa say they are happy to implement the LMD system, notwithstanding the small difficulties of speed difference that it presents. They are committed to supporting the Supreme Magistrate of the DRC in his wish to make a few millionaires among the Congolese youth. In the same vein, the scholarly class of Kinshasa reminds the Father of the Nation, the taking charge of the social issues of teachers, that is to say, academics, scientists and administrators at the level of Higher and University Education. The heads of the universities and higher institutes of Kinshasa have, in addition, presented their wishes of happiness, health and prosperity to the Minister of supervision, Mr. MUHINDO NZANGI BUTONDO and to the entire Government of the DRC.
