Certain scientific and political figures have distinguished themselves in their fight for the well-being of the community. Four of them were, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the University of Lovanium, designated Ambassadors of the University of Kinshasa. They are:
– Ms. Debora KAYEMBE, Honorary Rector of the University of Edinburgh (Scotland): appointed Ambassador of the University of Kinshasa thanks to her actions for the visibility of the University of Kinshasa on the international scene, her contribution to the promotion of gender, her fight against racism and her fight for the defense of human rights;
– Professor Doctor Gilbert KABANDA, Minister of Scientific Research and Technological Innovations: For his actions and advocacy in favor of scientific research and the rehabilitation of the Mgr Luc Gillon Promotions Room;
– Doctor MUYEMBE TAMFUM: for his brilliant research on the Ebola virus;
– The Honorable KASHAL KATEMB, Director General of the Congolese Agency for the Regulation of Private Sector Subcontracting (ARSP), for his numerous achievements in favor of youth entrepreneurship.
