Rector Jean-Marie KAYEMBE receives the Representative of JICA-DRC

Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA granted an audience this Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in his office to Mr. OKITSU KEIICHI, representative of JICA-DRC.
The purpose of this meeting was to seek collaboration in organizing a seminar that will bring together local and Japanese universities, scheduled for next September. This seminar will be organized within the framework of the JICA Chair, a JICA development research program.
It should be noted that Japan is among the DRC's major partners in several areas, particularly health and tropical medicine. The first Congolese scanner was a gift from Japan in 1986.
