Twenty-four female students from the University of Kinshasa have received the Mulan Scholarship awarded by the Chinese Embassy in the Democratic Republic of Congo. A ceremony took place this Thursday, September 26, at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Middle Kingdom. This is the third time the Mulan Scholarship has been awarded, and it is exclusively for girls. It should be noted that the scholarship is named after a valiant Chinese woman, Mulan, who mustered up her courage to defend her country in the Chinese army.
