Public defense of the thesis for aggregation in Medicine of Head of works Patricia KAKOBO KITOMBOLE

The thesis entitled “Clinical, allergological profile and factors associated with uncontrolled allergic rhinitis in a hospital setting in Kinshasa” was defended this Friday, November 29, 2024 by the Head of Research Patricia KAKOBO KITOMBOLE. The objective of this work was to determine the clinical characteristics and factors associated with uncontrolled allergic rhinitis (RANC) in Congolese patients in Kinshasa.

The academic session took place in the Digital Library of the Faculty of Medicine, on the inspired hill. The recipient presented, in her presentation, a result of 311 patients suffering from RANC, aged 10 to 73 years, who had been consulted at least twice or more in the last five years and who manifested two symptoms of allergic rhinitis (AR).
The Rector, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, who is also the thesis supervisor, saw the session chaired by his representative, Professor Jean KIGOTSI, Budget Administrator.
