Closing of the 1st edition of the International Conference on Entrepreneurial Support and Green Innovation in the African Context at the University of Kinshasa

On December 6, 2024, the international conference focused on entrepreneurial support and green innovation in the African context concluded its work at the University of Kinshasa, highlighting the theme “Performance of support structures and female entrepreneurship”.
During the closing session, Professor Val MASAMBA, one of the organizers, emphasized the importance for the Democratic Republic of Congo to regain its place within the national economy and achieve economic independence, while integrating climate issues into its efforts.

In his closing address, the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, encouraged young students to engage in entrepreneurship. He expressed his desire to make this institution a true engine of wealth creation for the country through an entrepreneurial approach.
This conference, which took place at the Wallonia-Brussels Centre from 4 to 5 December, was opened by the Prime Minister, Mrs. Judith SUMINWA TULUKA, in the presence of numerous national and international researchers, before closing on 6 December in the Monekosso Room, at the first university of the DR Congo.
