Summary : In recent years, the Democratic Republic of Congo has adopted the bachelor's-master's-doctorate system at the level of its higher and university education. This adoption has led to several changes in pedagogical, didactic and evaluation practices. Thus, it is important to know the points of view of teachers at Congolese universities regarding these innovations or changes. It is in this perspective that this study is situated, which aims to evaluate the perceived effectiveness of the LMD system among teachers at the University of Kinshasa. A survey questionnaire was administered to a non-probability sample of 288 teachers, due to 155 scientists (heads of work and assistants) and 133 professors. The results obtained revealed a negative perception of the quality of teaching and the methodology (didactics) of the LMD system among the respondents. However, the respondents have a positive perception of the evaluation of the LMD system, which seems to be better compared to that of the PADEM system. The differential analysis revealed that no sociodemographic variable influenced the perception of the effectiveness of the LMD system among the teachers surveyed.

Abstract: In recent years, the Democratic Republic of Congo has adopted the bachelor's-master's-doctorate system for higher and university education. This adoption has led to a number of changes in pedagogical, didactic and assessment practices. It is therefore important to know the views of Congolese university teachers on these innovations and changes. This is the background to the present study, which aims to assess the perceived effectiveness of the LMD system among teachers at the University of Kinshasa. A survey questionnaire was administered to a non-probabilistic sample of 288 teachers, including 155 scientists (supervisors and assistants) and 133 professors. The results revealed a negative perception of the teaching quality and methodology (didactics) of the LMD system among the respondents. However, respondents had a positive perception of the evaluation of the LMD system, which appeared to be better than that of the PADEM system. Differential analysis revealed that no socio-demographic variables influenced the perception of the effectiveness of the LMD system among the teachers surveyed.
