Cleaning up the University of Kinshasa's environment, collecting, recycling, and transforming waste into opportunities for students. This is the main objective of Giga Salongo, organized this Friday, April 25, 2025, at the University of Kinshasa. Divided into six areas, this initiative saw the participation of academic, scientific, administrative, and student bodies. In his opening speech, the Rector, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, urged the entire university community to get involved in breathing clean air. He pledged to organize such events every year. As a good manager, the head of this Alma, alongside members of the Management Committee, visited all the Faculties and decentralized entities, as well as other sites, to inspect the work he himself had preached, for example. National Deputy Eustache BANZA, Honorary Academic Secretary General of this university institution, also participated in this Giga Salongo as a professor.
