At the invitation of the African Association of Universities (AAU), unikin participated in a workshop organized from 5-8 May 2025, for University and Faculty Leaders under the theme: Positioning your University for Global Visibility. The objective of this workshop was to present different models of transnational education in order to improve the quality of research of African ESU institutions and co-develop strategies to overcome obstacles.

During these meetings, several themes were discussed, including:
1. Facilitation of Transnational Education (TNE) and the appropriate global model for African institutions
2. Promotion of Excellent Research and Scholarly Works
3. Digital Marketing Strategies and Visibility of African Universities
4. Africa and Open Access Publications: What’s the Good?
