Celebrating the 65th anniversary of the DRC's independence. The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, took part on June 29, 2025, in HUWAN, China, in an international conference organized by Congolese students in China. The theme of the conference was: "Reinventing the Congo as a united, prosperous, and strong nation." The Rector of the mother house of Congolese universities welcomed this initiative, which Congo needs. He took the opportunity to send a message of cohesion, unity, and patriotism, virtues that must now characterize tomorrow's elite, instead of tribalism and division.
Rector Kayembe called on all intellectuals in various fields (economics, agriculture, environment, transportation, artificial intelligence, etc.) to truly serve the Congolese nation. He promised to facilitate contacts with other intellectuals who remained in the DRC.
