The University of Kinshasa Rector, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, continues his tour of Canadian universities. Two universities were visited, and several working sessions led to opportunities for collaboration.
At the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), the Rector was received by Professor Christian Agbobli, Vice-Rector of Research, Creation, and Dissemination. With the latter, fruitful and promising discussions were established for cooperation between the two institutions.
The Rector of UNIKIN had the opportunity to visit several entities in which he and his delegation held numerous working sessions in several research areas.
Issues on curriculum development were addressed during his visit to the Faculty of Education Sciences within the UNESCO Chair.

The environmental issue of interest to UNIKIN was also at the centre of discussions at the Institute of Environmental Sciences.
The visit to the UQAM facilities continued at the university radio station, where the Rector of UNIKIN, with an attentive ear, noticed the strong participation of students in the collection, processing and dissemination of information.
Another of the university's particularities is the "Heart of Sciences", also visited by the Unikinese delegation, where Professor Jean Marie Kayembe had a working session with Stéphanie Chaix, Director. The Heart of Sciences is an institution of UQAM whose objective is the promotion, popularization and dissemination of science through communication, art, culture, and other means to the public, and the different components of society.

From UQAM, the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, always accompanied by Professor Pascal Kapagama, Coordinator of the Cooperation Management and International Relations Unit, visited Concordia University, which is a reference in the field of computer science with its Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science. Within this Faculty, the number 1 of UNIKIN, Professor Jean Marie Kayembe was received by Gina Cody, Dean of the Faculty. The speech on computer engineering led to discussions around opportunities for collaboration with the Polytechnic Faculty of UNIKIN.
