Training of class leaders, faculty delegates and student coordinators in citizenship at the University of Kinshasa

"Civic and conscientious students". This is the objective of the two-day seminar organized from Wednesday 17 to Thursday 18 July 2024 at the Monekosso room of the University of Kinshasa for the Heads of Promotion, Faculty Delegates and Student Coordinators of the University of Kinshasa. In his opening remarks, the Academic Secretary General, Professor Charles ODIKO LOKANGAKA, suggested that these are the type of students who will be able to drive the development of the DRC. Chaired by Rector Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, these meetings saw the intervention of several Professors from UNIKIN: Toussaint TSHILOMBO SEND (Faculty of Social, Administrative and Political Sciences) with the theme "A permanent challenge"; Jonathan ENGUTA (Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences) with the theme “Values of the student representatives of the University of Kinshasa”; Professor Jean-Paul MBUYA MWAFULA KUTUMISA (Faculty of Arts and Humanities) with the theme “The art of debate in the academic world” and Professor Félicien MUNDAYI MULOPO (Faculty of Arts and Humanities) with the theme “The fight against anti-values as a prerequisite for civic life at the University of Kinshasa”. The students, through their Representative, Coordinator Japhet KALUILA NTUMBUA, made a commitment to study as good citizens in their Alma mater at the end of this training, which is awarded a certificate.
