Participation of the Rector, Professor JM Kayembe, in the workshop on professionalizing pedagogy for better employability
Professor JM Kayembe, Rector of the University of Kinshasa, took part in a series of workshops and sessions organized by theAUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie), as part of international conferences on educational innovation and employability. The event aimed to strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions to offer training programs better suited to the needs of the job market.
Session 2: Employing educational innovation
This session focused on new teaching methods, with the aim of better preparing students for employment. Discussions focused on innovative approaches aimed at strengthening the link between education and the world of work.
Session 3: Professional digital training
The third session addressed the digital training and its role in the professionalization of learners. The experts present highlighted the importance of integrating digital tools into training courses to develop concrete skills that are immediately applicable in the professional world.
Workshop 2: Ecological transformation and difficulties in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Rector JM Kayembe also participated in theworkshop 2 on the ecological transformation and the obstacles encountered in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. This workshop explored the environmental challenges that higher education institutions must address and proposed solutions for better integrating ecological concerns into curricula.
