THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
The Management Committee includes:
- the Rector;
- the Academic Secretary General;
- the Secretary General for Research
- the Administrative Secretary General;
- the Budget Administrator.
The Management Committee ensures the day-to-day management of the University under the direction of the Rector and, as such, implements the decisions of the supervisory Ministry, the University Board of Directors, the University Council and takes all measures that do not fall within the competence of another body. In this capacity:
- He makes all proposals and suggestions which seem important to him to the University Council;
- He appoints the administrative and technical staff for execution and collaboration, grants them promotions and dismisses them on the proposals of the head of the department concerned;
- He hears appeals against decisions of Faculty Councils, Departments, structures and organizations of the University;
- He has full disciplinary power over administrative staff and collaborators and students and reports to the University Council;
- He prepares the University's budget forecasts, submits them to the University Council for approval and implements the agreed budget;
- He exercises the rights and duties of the owner or tenant relating to buildings allocated to the University.
Any member of the Management Committee may attend meetings of the Faculty Councils and any other structures or services of the University as well as examination juries.
The Management Committee meets once a week and sets its own rules for its operation.
