The Rector of the University of Kinshasa receives the winning students of the national eloquence and debate competition

It was on the morning of Monday, October 16, 2023, that the Rector of the former Lovanium, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA granted an audience to the winners of the national eloquence and debate competition. These meetings, organized by the Mukadi Manda Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Youth on October 5, 2023, in the red room of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were split into two branches, including English and French.
More than 80 students from different universities across the country, representing different provinces, took part.
For the presentations in English, the title of “Mr English” was won by the student of G3 AIA, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, MULUMBA MUPOYI Benjamin, followed in third place by the medalist Joseph DEBO MOKATA, from the Faculty of Economics and Management, all from the University of Kinshasa.


For the French language, the first title in the women's category was won by second-year law student Priscille LUMBI OSHAY, followed by first-year French-speaking student Judith LWANY SOMPO. The first title in this category was won by a UPN student.
Another winner of the inspired hill in the men's category is student Séraphin MIKOBI from the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences.
