The Department of Tropical Medicine at UNIKIN has established a clinical trial site within the Boende General Hospital

This site was recently visited by partners from the University of Antwerp and CEPI, as well as a representative from the Ethics Committee of the Kinshasa School of Public Health. Currently, the PregInPoxVac clinical trial is underway; it focuses on mpox vaccination for pregnant women and children aged 4 to 24 months and is funded by EDCTP and CEPI.
