Il s’est tenu en date du 12 aout 2023 matinée civique organisée par le bureau du forum économique à l’occasion de la journée internationale de la jeunesse célébrée le 12 aout de chaque année.
The theme chosen by the United Nations for this year is " green economy" and in relation to this theme the office of the economic forum had chosen the theme "youth and ethical values for a healthy environment »

Today's program

On the program

were planned:
1. Communication from the faculty delegate;
2. Speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management;
3. Word from the President of the Economic Forum
4. Waste collection and cleaning activities on the university site

This activity, open to the university public, saw the participation of several officials, namely:

• The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Barthelemy KALAMBAYI;
• the president of the economic forum of the University of Kinshasa, Joël BUSHABU
• The principal assistant to the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Jocelyn MANTEPA MANTEPA;
• The faculty delegate of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Semay KAHULU;
• The deputy faculty delegate of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Moise MABAYA;
• the secretary general of the economic forum of the University of Kinshasa, Arjule Berius EMO NGAMINGAMI;

1. Communication from the faculty delegate
Dans sa communication le délégué facultaire a rappelé l’importance de la journée international e de la jeunesse pour
the United Nations and for the youth of the whole world and in relation to the theme of the day, the faculty delegate
asked the assistant to pay close attention to the Dean of the Faculty's speech.

2. Speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and management
Dans son allocution le doyen a démontré la relation qui existe entre les officiels de la faculté des sciences économiques et de gestion et les étudiants, cette relation qu’il a qualifiée d’amicale il l’a démontré par cette proximité régulière entre les étudiants et les autorités Il a interpellé les camarades étudiants sur leur statut de jeune qui est une étape intermédiaire en l enfance et la pleine maturité ce dernier à invité la jeunesse académique à prendre ses responsabilités car elle est l’avenir et la relève.

"For this future to be pleasant, we must all adopt ethical values that promote a clean environment through good management of all categories of waste in the auditoriums, corridors, parking lots and the garden of the Faculty of Economics and Management," insisted the Dean of the Faculty.
Etant étudiant à la faculté des sciences économiques et de gestion, le doyen à invité les camarades à s’intéresser à
l’économie dite « économie verte » car ordure veut aussi dire étymologiquement « ordure » c’est à dire les déchets sont aussi une forme de l’or si ces derniers sont recyclés et utilisés comme matières premières dans la maçonnerie , l’automobile, etc.

In his capacity as head of the Centre for Capacity Building and Studies on Health, Population and
development, CRESPOD in acronym, Dean Barthelemy KALAMBAYI distributed the first two issues of the
comic strip “Deborah” entitled “WHEN UNSALUBRITY KILLS”.

3. Word from the President of the Economic Forum
Dans son adresse le président du forum à invité l assistance opposé un acte, il les a invité à participer à l’activité civique de collectes des déchets sur le site universitaire.

4. Waste collection and cleaning activities on the university site
Together with the faculty delegation, the Economic Forum office carried out tasks of waste collection, cleaning of walls, garden, parking lot, auditoriums and emptying the faculty's trash cans to link theory to practice.
