Visit this Wednesday morning, December 15, 2021, to the University of Kinshasa, of the Minister of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation (RSIT), Master José Mpanda Kabangu. Warmly welcomed by the Rector of Unikin, the Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba as well as the Management Committee, a brief meeting took place between the two authorities at the Rectorate. The Minister of RSIT left a note in the guestbook before making a trip to the Neuro-Psycho-Pathological Center (CNPP).
Indeed, the purpose of his visit was to implement a project, that of building a geophysics research center in Kinshasa.
Unikin has granted a green space on the university site for the construction of the said building.
After various speeches for the occasion, the Minister of RSIT proceeded with the symbolic laying of the foundation stone and the blessing of the work. The construction work will be carried out in modules by the company COREREBA.
Several personalities or their representatives were present at this ceremony: the Rector of Unikin and its management committee, the Secretary General for Scientific Research, the President of the National Scientific Council, etc.
They were able to appreciate the efforts made in the fight against erosion.
