The African training workshop on BIOGENOMICS organized by the Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine ended under the direction of Professor MVUMBI LELO Georges, Head of the Department of Basic Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine.
This training in Molecular Bioinformatics had the merit of offering:
- The bi-annual holding of this training, while thinking about MOOC methods in the field;
- Longer duration for practical learning.
- Close collaboration between Molecular Biology laboratories and the Scientific Police of the participating countries;
- The creation of the association of molecular bioinformaticians;
- The establishment of an African network of molecular biology laboratories.
This scientific workshop had the privilege of being international with the participation of biologists and computer scientists in anatomical and biometric production and analysis, coming from Central and East Africa.
Thus, strengthening the capacities of these researchers to participate in raising the Unikin propositional and positional force in the regional concert.
