The University of Kinshasa had the honor this Monday, April 14, 2025, of welcoming Professor Gaspard Banyankimbona, Executive Secretary of the Inter-University Council of the East African Community (IUCEA). This visit is part of preparations for the IUCEA annual conference, scheduled for June in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
During a meeting held at the University's Academic Senate, Professor BANYANKIMBONA was received by the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA. The latter took the opportunity to present a postcard from his alma mater.
The meeting also saw the participation of the Rectors and Directors General of higher education institutions of the Democratic Republic of Congo, all members of the IUCEA.
