This Monday, July 14, 2024, the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, brought together in his office Professors Glennie NTSAMBI, Dean of the Faculty of Human Medicine, RISSASSI MAKULO, Medical Director of the University Clinics of Kinshasa, as well as Éric MAFUTA MUSALU, Director of the School of Public Health of this Alma mater.

The purpose of this meeting was to coordinate community awareness efforts regarding the current cholera epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In keeping with its mission of community service, the University of Kinshasa, through its Rector, is awaiting concrete proposals from stakeholders within 48 hours to strengthen the health response.
