New Year 2022: a first at the University of Kinshasa
This Monday, December 27, 2021, took place in the prestigious Unikin Promotions room, the Ceremony of exchange of vows between the Unikin Management Committee and the Student Coordination: a real first at the University of Kinshasa!
Speaking first, the General Coordinator of Unikin Students, Mr. Bagazaziki Marcellin, welcomed the members of the Management Committee present for the occasion. He expressed his deep joy for the confidence that the current Management Committee continues to place in his modest person. He praised the remarkable work carried out by this Management Committee led by the great lion, the Rector of Unikin, the Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba : Thank you, thank you, thank you
"He who has seen the son has seen the father," said the General Coordinator of Unikin students: the Rector being the lion; and the students the lion cubs.
"The fire burns very high when everyone brings their piece of wood": such is the importance of the collaboration between the Management Committee and the students.
The student coordinator will present his wishes to the Management Committee for the year 2022.
This will be followed by a speech by the Rector of Unikin, Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe, who will thank the Lord, the Creator of all things, because we deserve nothing! He will invite the audience to observe a minute of silence in memory of all the Unikin executives and staff who left us during the year 2021. He will remind everyone that Unikin is resolutely turned towards the future with the student at the center of its activities. On behalf of the Management Committee, he will offer his wishes for happiness, health, prosperity, and above all, peace on the university campus.
[metaslider id=”56438″]Symbolic gifts were offered to the members of the Management Committee by the student coordination: bottles of wine were given to the authorities by Miss Tabitha Kalenga And Sarah Mafuta, respectively Minister of Entrepreneurship and Minister of Social Affairs within the student coordination.
The Faculty of Medicine stood out through its faculty delegate Mr. Hugues Musumbu, who offered two young plants:
- Hibiscus Cameroon renamed Tree of Renaissance and Reconstruction Jean-Marie Kayembe.
- Royal palm renamed Tree of Renaissance Mgr Plevoots.
The moderator of the session, Mr. Emery Otshinga, Minister of Communication of the Student Coordination closed this beautiful moment by inviting the members of the Management Committee present to the magnificent buffet planned for the occasion.
