As part of the organization of the fair of member countries of the African Union and its partners for the promotion and development of local industry and inter-African trade, UNDP country offices and partners such as the International Organization for Migration and the African Union Commission, involved entrepreneurs to present their products and services while promoting connections for market expansion.

In her pre-recorded welcome messages, UNDP Under-Secretary-General and Regional Director for Africa, Ahunna Eziakonwa, highlighted the transformative potential of intra-African trade, saying: “You are the ones who will transform Africa, by creating jobs, increasing incomes and implementing a trade-led prosperity agenda.”
