ECOMOB Project (for French-speaking youth engaged in environmental issues)

To combat climate change and protect the environment as a whole, volunteers from the Artémis Africa organization and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the UNIKIN student coordination raised awareness among UNIKIN students on the different recycling and waste recovery techniques in order to protect forests and keep the university environment healthy and conducive, on August 14, 2023.

The Rector of the University of Kinshasa, Professor Jean Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, welcomed the initiative and encouraged the Artémis Africa organization and the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development of the student coordination to continue on this path, given the magnitude of environmental issues currently taking place across the world.

It should be noted that Artémis Africa trained 100 young people who worked to raise awareness about good environmental management during the 9th FRANCOPHONIE GAMES in Kinshasa.
