Under the high patronage of the Rector of the University of Kinshasa, the Professor Jean-Marie Kayembe Ntumba, it was held this Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the Unikin promotion room, the 14th edition of the Large plenary session of the IT days. Organized under the theme: " THE technological innovations: Lever for integration and development of the Congolese citizen », several panelists have been scheduled for the occasion. Among others: Al Kitenge, Raïssa Malu, Pierre Kafunda, Sidonie Latere, Patrick Mulumba and Pierre Kasengedia.
The Rector of Unikin expressed his joy at seeing the values, missions and visions of our Alma Mater being applied, at seeing the creativity of the student, who must remain at the center of all attention, further develop. He thanked the President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo for the existence of a Ministry of Digital Affairs at the national level headed by a Professor from Unikin, His Excellency Désiré Cashmir Eberande KolongeleThe Faculty of Science, through its Math-Info department, has allowed its students to get closer to the world of entrepreneurship. The Management Committee is always open to organizing this type of activity, even though it does not receive any government funding.

The Rector of Unikin is delighted with these students who were able to mobilize partners from the private and employment sectors to support them in this organization. It is an honor to host these computer science days which showcase the student as a product of which the Congolese state should be proud. The Unikin Management Committee requests a small whiplash in computer equipment for the effective modernization of the academic, financial and administrative management of our institution. This request is also addressed to the partners who accompanied these computer days while hoping that they were able to discover the creative genius of this youth who only asks for one whiplash also to bring out their potential. “Let’s rebuild the Unikin Solution together for a DRC Solution.” The Secretary General for Research, the Professor Antoine Tshimpi Wola came back on the digital whiplash considered more visible and more sensitive than a simple digital boostThe Management Committee has decided to let loose, so that all skills can be expressed from the ground up: students, project managers, doctoral students, and teachers are all called upon to express their talents. A single invention, a discovery, can constitute the wealth of our University. It can provide a great service to the community, and its regularity can constitute an enormous fortune for the University. With each project presented, the Management Committee asks itself the question of whether our Alma Mater can propose solutions. What is its contribution to each development project submitted to it. May partners consider our University for any research initiative.

For the Minister of Digital Affairs, it was an honor to have been invited to this ceremony. This invitation actually came from the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, and the 1er Minister, Sama Lukonde, who made digital technology a very important issue of national governance. The Head of State had a vision, through the national digital plan, that of noting that in today's world, research is no longer just material or natural (soil, subsoil, fauna, flora) because there is another type of research which is that of DATA, that of the data. Nowadays, countries with colossal budgets are so thanks to the creation, storage and exchange of data. So, creating good data, using it wisely, is currently integrated into the Research of a country.
