2 UNIKIN researchers at the SADC regional seminar on ecological cementitious materials in Johannesburg
As part of the SADC regional scientific cooperation, two researchers from the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), Mr. Seke Vangu Max and Mrs. Kapinga Kabulwe Sharon, were invited to present their research at a international seminar organized the May 13, 2025 speak Mineral Processing and Technology Research Center from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Their work focuses on thestudy of cementitious materials based on natural rocks (basalt, dolerite, metabasalt) and ofthermally activated clays, with a view to developing ecological and high-performance cements. This research is part of the dynamics of the sustainable and responsible construction in Africa.
