On July 9, 2024, Prof. Lumaka had the pleasure of speaking as a guest speaker at the 28th Congress of the International Society for Prenatal Diagnosis (ISPD) in Boston, USA. He was invited to share his experience on the challenges of implementing genomic medicine in Africa in front of more than 660 participants from 28 countries, both in person and online. We were, once again, able to measure the interest the world has in the research we are conducting in Africa and how this research can guide the future of medicine globally.
