The Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Student Coordination of the University of Kinshasa organized, in collaboration with the Club of Students in Environmental Sciences (CESEN Asbl), a large inter-university conference which brought together more than 500 students from universities to discuss the restitution of COP27 (27th Conference of the Parties).

The speakers included Professor Joseph LONGUNZA MALASSI, Climate Advisor to the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the DRC; Ir Idris MUFUKA KUDIYE, Expert in Renewable Energies (INPP) and Mr. Bonaventure BONDO KIKANGALA, Coordinator of the MJPE (Youth Movement for the Protection of the Environment).

On behalf of the UNIKIN management committee, the said conference took place in the presence of the Secretary General for Research, Professor Antoine TSHIMPI.
