Opening of the 2022-2023 academic year at the University of Kinshasa. An ecumenical service was held this Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in the MONEKOSSO Room at UNIKIN. The opportunity was offered to the Rector of the inspired hill, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, to place his institution in the hands of God, like the President of the Republic, Félix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO for the DRC.

The mass was celebrated by the parish priest of Our Lady of Wisdom Parish, Father Georges NJILA. In his homily, Father Georges NJILA addressed the theme of "Sacrificing Oneself Through Work." This was his way of urging the new students to work like academics in the true sense of the word, that is, to discipline themselves throughout their academic career.
