Unveiling of the Updated Backdrop in Tribute to Women Professors at the University of Kinshasa

The promotion of women professors at the University of Kinshasa was highlighted during a ceremony to unveil a backdrop illustrating the profiles of all the women professors at this Alma Mater. The event took place this Thursday, March 13, 2025, in the grounds of the Administrative Building on Inspired Hill.
Speaking, the Rector's Chief of Staff, Professor Bijoux MANDIANGU, highlighted the importance of this ceremony, which aims to strengthen the leadership of women professors in decision-making bodies.
The objectives of this backdrop include, among other things, a tribute to women professors who inspire future generations. Professor Berthe Zinga, president of the Sofi KANZA circle, which brings together all women university professors in the Democratic Republic of Congo, also expressed her support for this initiative.

The inauguration was held by Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, Rector of the University of Kinshasa, who expressed his satisfaction with the contribution of the university's female professors.
It is worth noting that the University of Kinshasa has a total of 118 female professors who contribute to the training of Congolese elites. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a gift to Rector Jean-Marie Kayembe, in recognition of his vision focused on positive masculinity.
