It was this Friday, May 31, 2024 that the National Service of the DRC officially proceeded with the delivery of a first batch of 500 benches to the University of Kinshasa, the work of former urban kuluna transformed into “builders” in KANYAMA KASESE.

In his speech, Major General Jean-Pierre KASONGO KABWIK, Commander of the National Service, announced that the University of Kinshasa will receive a total of 2,000 benches, each seating 5, or 100,000 seats for the entire set of benches. The remaining batch will be delivered gradually each week. This is part of a vast program initiated by the National Service, whose objective is to equip schools, universities, and higher education institutions in Kinshasa first, and those in the provinces second. Before the inspired hill, the MOKENGELI school also benefited from these works.

Deeply moved by this patriotic act, the Rector of this Alma mater, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, had words of praise for the National Service and praised the commitment of its first leader in transforming the men known as Kuluna into men useful to society.
