Women at the University of Kinshasa create a framework for reflection on the country's development
A group of women from the University of Kinshasa met on Friday, March 29, 2024, in the Monekosso room at the former UNAZA to establish a forum to present their scientific advances to decision-making bodies in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the aim of contributing to the country's progress. During a conference-debate closing the activities of International Women's Day, Professor Marie-Claire YANDJU, Secretary General for Research at UNIKIN, announced the establishment of a space dedicated to promoting the scientific contributions of women academics.
These contributions cover crucial areas such as investment, women's empowerment, entrepreneurship, and the promotion of national industry. It is worth noting the participation of other speakers, such as Ms. Paoni Basosila, the Honorary Budget Administrator of this university, thus demonstrating a diversity of expertise within this promising initiative.
