Launch of the learning and popularization of the research inventory and planning tool at the University of Kinshasa. The go-ahead was given to the faculty and scientific staff this Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Faculty of Economics and Management. The OIPR is a platform for recording and popularizing all intellectual research and teaching activities of the inspired hill. This tool allows researchers, as emphasized by the Rector of this university, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA, to record everything they produce, in order to know who is doing what and how to involve the eldest daughter of Congolese universities in the concert of nations from a scientific point of view.
For her part, the Secretary General for Research, Professor Marie-Claire YANDJU, spoke about the potential for innovation that this Alma Mater holds, which unfortunately has been in the shadows due to the lack of popularization through dedicated platforms. Thus, thanks to this digital work, the research results of the country's mother university will now be known to the internal and external public.
The presentation and demonstration of the OIPR access mode were provided by Professors Daniel NTUNGISA and Igor MATONDA. They are continuing to teach and popularize the tool in other Faculties of the University of Kinshasa.
