LUMEYA MASUTA JONATHAN NOMINATED FOR AN HONORARY DOCTORATE IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND DIPLOMACY

Mr. Lumeya Masuta Jonathan has been officially designated as a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate (Ph.D. honoris causa) in International Relations and Diplomacy by Prowess University, based in the State of Delaware, United States.

The distinction, announced in an official letter dated September 2, 2026, recognizes his leadership, contributions to political discourse, commitment to public service, and efforts to promote international cooperation and diplomatic relations in the region and across the African continent.

According to the nomination document, the honor also recognizes his commitment to democratic governance, peacebuilding, and sustainable international engagement. These values are presented as being fully aligned with the principles upheld by Prowess University.

The official award ceremony is scheduled to take place from September 9 to 11, 2026, in Kinshasa, as part of the World Summit of Diplomacy, a high-level international gathering dedicated to diplomatic issues.

The ceremony is expected to bring together diplomatic delegates, government officials, and academics in connection with this distinction. It will be officially conducted by Amb. Dr. Temisan O. Louis, Representative of Prowess University, according to the nomination letter.
