It was around the representative of the Minister of ESU and the members of the Management Committee that the ceremony of the handover and recovery took place at the University of Kinshasa between the outgoing Secretary General for Research, Professor Émile NGOYI and the incoming one, Professor Marie-Claire YANDJU DEMBO D'A LETSHU. This ceremony of handover and recovery took place this Monday, August 11, 2023 at the Office of the General Secretariat for Research of the inspired hill. After 3 months of service, Professor Émile NGOYI said he was happy to give up his chair and this with great joy, because he believes he left it in good hands.
At the same time, the Rector of the former UNAZA, Professor Jean-Marie KAYEMBE NTUMBA and the representative of the Minister of ESU, Mr BEKENIA LOFEMBE, took turns to welcome the gender-sensitive choice of Professor Marie-claire YANDJU within the Management Committee. The choice made by the Minister in charge, Mr MOHINDO NZANGI BUTONDO, is an appointment far from a political recommendation, rather, one based on recognized competence.
