On Saturday, May 17, the Confucius Institute at the University of Kinshasa organized an educational and cultural visit to M'futi, in the Kongo-Central province, for its students. This activity is part of its mission to promote Chinese culture through Mandarin language teaching programs and other cultural disciplines. Participants attended a lecture before visiting the facilities and construction sites (road and bridge). This immersion allowed students to concretely discover the impact of Chinese companies in the DRC, while strengthening their linguistic and intercultural skills. It also highlighted the importance of openness to the world and dialogue between cultures, fundamental principles upheld by the Confucius Institute. The University of Kinshasa welcomes this initiative, which once again illustrates the vitality and relevance of Sino-Congolese academic and cultural cooperation, in the service of knowledge and development.
