INVENTORY AND PLANNING, AN OPPORTUNITY FOR RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KINSHASA

Several years ago, the research activities carried out at the University of Kinshasa, moreover on an individual basis, were neither known to the public inside and outside the university, nor coordinated, due in particular to the lack of a research policy and a structure specifically dealing with research. This is why the Research Support Unit (CAR) was created in 2019, with the financial support of the Academy of Research and Higher Education of Belgium (ARES) and this, within the framework of the ARES-UNIKIN Institutional Support Program 2018 - 2020. This unit was given the mission of revitalizing and coordinating scientific research at the University of Kinshasa in order to better boost teaching and service to society and to allow greater visibility of the university as well as its researchers.
